I just got off the phone with Emily Savors at the Columbus Foundation and thought I would pass on to you what I learned (you may already know this). There is a new small grants category which requires a 1-3 page letter to apply. The grants are mostly $10,000 or less and they are for specific target populations like the elderly, community beautification, education, art education etc.
The deadline is April 4th- I think it would be worth all of you exploring this- you apply by going online Columbus foundation.org. If you have questions about specific grants call Emily Savors or call Dan Sharpe for technical questions on filling out the application.
On the home page, go to the go button at the bottom, then go to targeted for special needs (small grants).

One Community Ministry - Looking for Used Van
